Since the establishment of our company in October 1967, we (the former ANELVA Corporation) have been engaged in a business based on high vacuum technology, within the NEC Group.

We are pleased to announce that we have made a new start as a group company 100% owned by Canon Inc., effective September 30, 2005.

We are also pleased to announce that we are using this opportunity to change the name of our company and two subsidiary companies 100% owned by the former ANELVA Corporation as of October 1, 2005 as below:

Canon ANELVA Technix Corporation (The former ANELVA Technix Corporation)
Canon ANELVA Engineering Corporation (The former ANELVA Techno-Business Corporation)

Although we have changed our names, we will continue to operate our businesses as before; and we are determined to make further efforts to provide our customers with even better service.
